A survival Minecraft server built and run as a collaboration between The Gaming Government and VillagePeace. Two communities, one server, all the people you'd actually want to play with.
TVG SMP is the joint project of The Gaming Government and VillagePeace — built together, run together, played together.
Staff are people from the community, not bots and not strangers. They moderate because they care, not because they're paid.
48 GB dedicated hardware on PrismNodes. Room for 300+ concurrent without TPS issues. We didn't cheap out on the server.
Don't have to be a regular. Drop in, build for a weekend, vanish for a month, come back. It's fine.
It's a regular Java Edition server. If you've joined an SMP before, you already know.

These apply in the Discord and in-game. Follow them, you're fine. Mostly common sense.
No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or targeting people. No slurs. No starting arguments in public channels. Use common sense.
No NSFW content. No graphic violence or disturbing stuff. Mild swearing is fine, unless it turns into attacking someone. Don't dox people or be invasive about IRL info.
Don't spam messages, pings, emojis, or images. Don't constantly self-promo unless it's in #self-promo.
Mods aren't perfect, but arguing in public chat about punishments won't change anything. If you have an issue, DM staff respectfully. Evading punishment with alts makes it worse.
Use the right channels for the right things. Don't derail everything with nonsense or drama. Don't start arguments for entertainment.
Don't impersonate staff. Don't loophole rules — if you're clearly bending them, it still counts. Anti-cheat is active in-game.
